WORKING AND EXHIBITING IN WESTERN AUSTRALIA FOR THE LAST 26 YEARS

Vicki Ames - before arriving in Australia in 1995 Vicki worked as a curator at Gawthorpe Hall, Lancashire and later taught at Goldsmiths College, University of London, where she had previously studied (awarded a 1st class BA honors degree. Since arriving in Australia Vicki has pursued a career as a textile artist, having held three solo shows since 2019 and as a lecturer, working at Edith Cowan University and North Metropolitan TAFE.

David Carson studied at Canterbury College of Art and was the course leader for the Honors degree in Visual Arts/ Culture at Blackburn College, Lancashire. Since arriving in Australia David has undertaken numerous residences in Australia and overseas.

In 2012 David was awarded a Creative Development Fellowship from the Government of Western Australia for his contribution to the arts. As a lecturer, David taught painting, drawing and digital media at North Metropolitan TAFE
